How much does tree removal cost in Duval County?
There is no flat rate. Price is driven by height, trunk diameter, how close the tree sits to the house, pool, fence or power lines, and how far our crew has to carry material to the truck. A small backyard pine is a very different job from a 70-foot live oak over a roof. We come out, look at the tree, and hand you a written price. The written number is the number you pay.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Duval County?
Often, yes. The City of Jacksonville and Duval County protect trees above certain trunk diameters, and St. Johns County, Orange Park and Ponte Vedra Beach each have their own rules. We check the ordinance against your specific address before we quote and tell you straight whether a permit is required.
Do you remove the stump too?
Stump grinding is quoted as a separate line so you only pay for it if you want it. In most cases we can grind the same day the tree comes down.
Will you clean up all the debris?
Yes. Every quote includes chipping the brush, hauling the wood and raking the work area before we leave. You should not be left with a pile in the yard.
How fast can you get here?

Fully. General liability and workers' compensation, and we will send the certificate before we start. You can also verify our credentials independently at ContractorCREDS.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes — and in many cases we can give you an estimate right over the phone. Just send us the property address or zip code along with a few close-up and far-away photos so we can see:
- Tree height — include the sky so we can gauge scale
- Tree size — how wide is the base of the trunk
- Tree location — front yard, side yard, or backyard
- Access — is there a gate, fence, vehicles, or anything else in the way
With that information we can often price it remotely. If not, we'll come out to see it in person.
Do you have a service minimum?
Yes. Our tree trimming starts at $675 and tree removal starts at $850. If these price points are not in your budget, we are not the company for you.
