How deep does stump grinding go?

We typically grind 6–12 inches below grade — enough to lay sod, plant, or pave the area. If you need deeper grinding for construction or paving, let us know when booking.

Do you haul away the wood chips?

We can leave the chips as mulch — great for garden beds — or haul everything off the property. Just tell us which you prefer when scheduling.

Can you grind multiple stumps in one visit?

Absolutely — and it's more economical. We can grind any number of stumps in a single visit. Provide the count and approximate sizes when you request a quote.

Do you grind roots too?

The grinder removes the stump and the major visible root flare. Deep structural roots are not typically ground — they decompose naturally over time. Surface roots causing trip hazards or driveway damage can be addressed specifically — ask when booking.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes — and in many cases we can give you an estimate right over the phone. Just send us the property address or zip code along with a few close-up and far-away photos so we can see:

Tree height — include the sky so we can gauge scale
Tree size — how wide is the base of the trunk
Tree location — front yard, side yard, or backyard
Access — is there a gate, fence, vehicles, or anything else in the way

With that information we can often price it remotely. If not, we'll come out to see it in person.

Do you have a service minimum?

Yes. Our tree trimming starts at $675 and tree removal starts at $850. If these price points are not in your budget, we are not the company for you.
