Tree Service Resources

Permitting, certified arborists, lot lines, land surveys, and more — everything Jacksonville homeowners and property managers ask us about before a tree job.

Permitting

Many tree removals in Jacksonville require a City of Jacksonville permit — especially protected hardwoods and larger specimen trees. We help you determine what’s needed and handle the paperwork when required.

Certified Arborists

904Tree™ has a certified arborist on staff. A qualified arborist assesses tree health, structural risk, and the safest way to remove or preserve a tree. You can verify any ISA Certified Arborist’s credentials online.

Tree Protection Ordinance

Duval County protects trees ≥ 11.5″ DBH; hardwoods ≥ 24″ DBH are exceptional specimens and may require mitigation. Invasive species (Brazilian Pepper, Camphor, etc.) are generally exempt. We’ll walk you through it.

Storm & Insurance Claims

After a storm, a hazardous tree over your home or auto may be covered by insurance. Our partners at P1Mitigators write the estimate and coordinate the claim — and financing is available while you wait on proceeds.
