What makes a tree hazardous?
Dead or dying limbs over a roof or driveway, a visible lean that has changed, cracked or peeling bark, mushrooms or conks at the base, a hollow trunk, or roots lifted out of the soil after a storm. Any of those over a target — a house, car, play area or power line — makes it a hazard tree.
Can you remove a tree that is leaning on my house in Fleming Island?
Yes. That is exactly the work we do. We rig the tree down in controlled sections, or bring a crane in when a lift is safer than climbing, so weight comes off the structure instead of onto it.
Will insurance pay for a hazardous tree removal?
If the tree has already damaged a covered structure, usually yes, and we can bill your carrier directly. A tree that is simply dead or dying with no damage is normally maintenance and not covered. We will tell you honestly which one you have.
Do you work near power lines?
We work up to the limits allowed for a qualified line-clearance situation and coordinate with the utility when the tree is in contact with a service drop. We will never send a crew into an unsafe electrical situation to save a day.
How quickly can you respond in Fleming Island?

Do you offer free estimates?
Yes — and in many cases we can give you an estimate right over the phone. Just send us the property address or zip code along with a few close-up and far-away photos so we can see:
- Tree height — include the sky so we can gauge scale
- Tree size — how wide is the base of the trunk
- Tree location — front yard, side yard, or backyard
- Access — is there a gate, fence, vehicles, or anything else in the way
With that information we can often price it remotely. If not, we'll come out to see it in person.
Do you have a service minimum?
Yes. Our tree trimming starts at $675 and tree removal starts at $850. If these price points are not in your budget, we are not the company for you.
